LAMAR — State police at Lamar responded to a crash with injury along Narrows Road in Porter Township.

According to police, the crash occurred at 2:57 p.m. on July 27 as Malinda McClosky, 58, of Mill Hall, fled the scene of a crash after driving her Hyundai Venue off the roadway.

A passing motorist allegedly reported the vehicle being unattended at the scene.

McClosky allegedly sustained minor injuries as a result of the crash, police said.

CASTANEA — State police at Lamar responded to a crash along state Route 20 in Castanea Township.

According to police, the crash occurred at 5 a.m. on July 23 as Logan Soo, 22, of Loganton, entered the right lane in his Honda C-RV and for an unknown reason, lost control of the vehicle and struck the guide rail off the right shoulder of the highway.

Soo’s vehicle allegedly sustained heavy front end damage with three flat tires as a result of the crash. He then continued to travel for approximately one mile before coming to a final stop at milepost 109.6, according to police.

Soo called a family member to pick him up from the scene and proceeded to leave the scene for approximately five hours before returning to report the crash, police said in their report.

He allegedly did not report any injuries and his vehicle was towed away by Tressler’s Towing.

LOGANTON — State police at Lamar responded to a crash along Interstate 80 in Greene Township.

According to police, the crash occurred at 7:52 a.m. on July 25 as Gagandeep Singh, 26, of Lansing, lost control of his Dodge Charger while traveling in the right lane of the highway.

Singh then struck the guide rail off the right side of the roadway with the front of the vehicle, police said in their report. He allegedly then crossed both lanes of traffic and came to a final stop facing west off the left shoulder, partially blocking the left lane.

Singh sustained minor injuries and was transported to UPMC Lock Haven, according to police. His vehicle sustained heavy front end damage and was towed from the scene by Bressler’s Towing.

Sugar Valley EMS and the Goodwill Hose Fire Company assisted on the scene.

CASTANEA — A 29-year-old man, of Beech Creek, was arrested for a DUI-related crash along state Route 220 North in Castanea Township.

State police at Lamar responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash with injuries on July 17. Upon further investigation, the operator was arrested for DUI.

The passenger in the vehicle sustained suspected minor injuries and was transported to Williamsport Hospital, police said in their report.

MILL HALL — A 60-year-old man, of Mill Hall, was arrested for a DUI-related crash along Hogan Boulevard in Bald Eagle Township.

State police at Lamar responded to reports of a possible drunk driver at the aforementioned location on July 15.

Upon further investigation, the man was taken into custody for suspicion of driving under the influence, police said in their report.

Charges are pending following blood results.

MILL HALL — A 29-year-old man, of Beech Creek, was arrested for drug possession along Hogan Boulevard in Bald Eagle Township.

State police at Lamar stopped the man after observing Title 75 violations on July 25. He was arrested for DUI after further investigation, according to police.

A search of the vehicle yielded suspected drugs, according to police.

Charges will be filed through magisterial district justice 25-3-02.

MILL HALL — A 42-year-old Beech Creek man was arrested for driving under the influence at the Millbrook Plaza in Bald Eagle Township.

State police at Lamar initiated a traffic stop on the man on July 26 and upon further investigation, made the arrest.

AVIS — A 62-year-old man from Lock Haven was arrested for driving under the influence along Woodward Avenue.

State police at Lamar stopped the man after observing Title 75 violations on July 26 and upon further investigation, made the arrest.

The investigation is currently ongoing, according to police.
